| April 20th Program Complete Discover Your Family's History at the Wichita Public Library — Michelle Enke did a wonderful job in covering the offerings in the genealogy and history area of the Advanced Learning Library. See our membership page to see how you can join and just as important, renew your membership. | 2024 Annual Conference Announcement WGS has announced details of the Annual Genealogy Conference, to be held October 5th, 2024. Continuing with past success, it will be held in the spacious Eugene M. Hughes Metroplex, a Wichita State University facility. This year's key speaker is Cari Taplin, a well-known national genealogy speaker and instructor. A lineup of great topics will benefit all ranges of genealogists, from beginners to advanced researchers. See the Conference pages for schedules, presentation descriptions, and more. Registration will begin in June, holding the same fee as before. As usual, conference registration includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunch.
