Some Trip Facts:
We leave on a Saturday (September 8, 2012) for a two day bus trip to Salt Lake City, Utah, home of the FHL. Our first night is at the East Drury in Denver with beverages and a "Kickback" selection of evening hot food including Ball Park Hot Dogs & Chili, a Baked Potato Bar, and a Garden Salad. Check it out. Click here for details. The following morning we have a hot breakfast before we hit the road.

We arrive the following day at the Plaza Hotel located next door to the Library. Here is where we "camp out". During our stay at the hotel, we are on our own for meals. There is a restaraunt adjacent to the hotel and there are a variety of other places to eat. One notable and reasonable place is the cafeteria in the Office Building in Temple Square. You may secure passes at the information desk as you enter the Library.

Our research starts on Monday, the following morning, at 8 A.M. The libraary hours are from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Mondays and 8 A.M. to 9 P.M. Tuesday through Saturday. After dinner on Monday, a complimentary lecture is scheduled at the Hotel.

After spending Monday through Friday at the Library we are ready to return on Saturday for home. Again we stay at the East Drury in Denver and arrive in Wichita late afternoon on Sunday.
